Preparedness and Health Equity Toolkit for People with Access and Functional Needs – The purpose of this toolkit is to provide tools and resources to assist local public health in supporting individuals who have access and functional needs before, during, and after a public health disaster.

Plan 9 Brochure – provides basic emergency preparedness information. It displays the nine items that every household in Utah should have on hand in the event of a disaster.  Plan 9 features pictographs and is easy to understand.  EMSP prints and distributes the brochure in 7 languages.  The brochure can be printed with your organizations logo. This guide provides information which people with disabilities and other access and functional needs, and the people who assist and support them, can use to prepare for emergencies before they happen.

The CMIST Framework – provides a flexible, crosscutting approach for planning to address a broad set of common access and functional needs (AFN) without having to define a specific diagnosis, status, or label. 

Be Ready Utah  – an excellent website with detailed information on all aspects of personal & family, community, school and business preparedness.  They also offer on site training and will meet with large groups.
