⚠️ Utah EMS Licensing Update: Application Processing Backlog

We are currently experiencing a four-week backlog in processing applications due to high volume. We appreciate your patience as our team works diligently to process all submissions.

Please do not come to our office or contact us with status inquiries, as this slows the application process down significantly for all providers. For information about current application processing times, please visit our website.

Important Update for Renewal Applications Submitted After March 31st:

If your application was submitted after March 31st, you are required to submit a reciprocity application and pay the associated fees before we can begin processing your license.

Check Your Application Status in 3 Steps:

Verify your application status online:

Log in: emslicense.utah.gov
Navigate: Click Applications → Continue.
Review: Locate your current application status.

Please note that we send notifications regarding application updates via email. Review these communications carefully for important instructions.

❗ Action Required: If your status is Initiated, Payment Pending, or Additional Documents Requested, your application is NOT yet complete. Please finish these steps to move your application into our processing queue.

If your application status is in any other category, there is no additional action needed from you at this time.
