Ambulance Rates
Ground Ambulance Base Rates
House Bill 301, effective May 7, 2025, enacted during the 2025 General Legislative session, brings several changes to ground ambulance transport rates:
- It establishes updated base rates for ground ambulance transports within Utah Code.
- Disposable supplies costs are now included in the base rate.
- The bill details a process for annual rate adjustments and forbids excessive charges or balance billing.
- Insurers are mandated to acknowledge the set EMS rates.
